The award recognizes great deployments of Wi-Fi that have helped to bridge the Digital Divide, and contribute to the socio-economic development in regions and cities around the world.
World Wi-Fi day is a global initiative, organized by the Wireless Broadhand Alliance under the leadership of Connected City Advisory Board (CCAB). It is a platform to hep bridge the digital divide and recognize and celebrate the significant role Wi-Fi is playing in cities and communities around the world by driving exciting and innovative projects to ‘connect the unconnected’.
